The Richard W. Kotch Jr. Agency was established in October 1988 in Cranberry Township, PA. In April 1998 we moved to Butler, PA, where we've been ever since — proudly serving Butler, Cranberry Township, and the surrounding communities for over three decades.
What started as a Nationwide-exclusive agency has grown into an independent brokerage — Kotch Insurance Agency — giving our clients access to many of the top carriers in the industry instead of just one. That means more choices, more competitive pricing, and coverage built around you, not a single company's rulebook.

Richard W. Kotch Jr.
Owner / Agent
Rich entered the insurance industry as a claims adjuster before becoming a Nationwide agent in 1988, building his agency from the ground up. He has since guided Kotch Insurance through its evolution into an independent brokerage, giving clients more carriers and more choices. Outside the office, he's active with the Folds of Honor and It's About The Warrior foundations, and can usually be found on a golf course.
Kimberly Kresh
Office Manager / Licensed Sales & Service Agent
Kim joined the agency in 2013 after first experiencing Kotch's level of service as a client herself. She's since earned her insurance license and now writes policies while handling service, billing, and day-to-day office management for the team.
Colten Raabe
Commercial & Personal Lines, Life & Medicare
A Butler-area native, Colten started his insurance career licensed in life, accident, and health before adding property and casualty. He works closely with commercial customers on employee benefit plans and personal coverage alike.
